MARKET REPORT |
We sold 2135 cattle at Ogallala this past
Wednesday, May 7, 2008, selling 1714
stockers and feeders and 421 butcher and feeding cows and bulls. The
Stocker
and Feeder Market was $2.00 to $3.00 higher with good buyer activity shown
on
all classes, with 90 percent of the run weighing over 600 lbs. and steers
accounting
for 77 percent of the offering. Cattle in the 400-500 lb. weight
classes were in
short supply for a market that was $3.00 to $6.00 higher.
